Residential Cleans

An initial deep clean is required before starting regular residential cleaning services. This first service focuses on detailed cleaning of high-touch areas, built-up dust, grime, and hard-to-reach spaces to bring the home up to a maintainable standard. Once the initial deep clean is completed, ongoing regular cleans can be scheduled on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, depending on the home’s needs.
All one-time residential cleaning services are treated as initial deep cleans and require additional time due to the level of detail involved. This service focuses on removing built-up dust, grime, and residues in areas not typically covered during regular maintenance cleans. An initial deep clean is required before starting recurring residential services to ensure the home meets a consistent and maintainable standard. After completion, regular cleaning can be scheduled on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis based on the client’s needs.
Our standard pricing for residential cleans is based on one cleaner, with time calculated in 15-minute increments. For example, if a service is completed in 1 hour and 10 minutes, the total billed time will be 1 hour and 15 minutes. When you book two cleaners or we have arrived as 2-people, the overall cleaning time is reduced, ensuring the job is completed more efficiently—so you won’t pay more than expected.
A minimum charge of $100 applies, which covers up to 2 hours of cleaning service. Any cleaning service scheduled for less than 2 hours will still be billed at the $100 minimum rate.

After the clean, our route managers inform us with the time in – time out and overall pricing. After then, you will receive an invoice from our e-mail address. For residential cleans, payment due is 1 week. If payment for a previous cleaning service is overdue, any upcoming or future cleaning appointments will not be scheduled or confirmed until the outstanding balance has been paid in full.

For example, if a service is completed in 4 hours and 52 minutes, the total billed time will be 5 hours. When you book two cleaners or we have arrived as 2-people, the overall cleaning time is reduced, ensuring the job is completed more efficiently—so you won’t pay more than expected.
A minimum charge of $250 applies to move in or move out cleaning services and covers up to 4 hours of cleaning. Any move in and move out cleaning scheduled for less than 4 hours will still be billed at the $250 minimum rate.

After the move in or move out clean, our team will be getting in touch with you to take a walk through and make sure every room and/or detail is well-cleaned and ready for new people and new stories.
We kindly ask that you or a household be present after the move-in or move-out cleaning is completed. A satisfaction form will be provided for you to review and sign to confirm your approval. This step is required to guarantee our service and to finalize payment.
Carpet Cleaning

Our carpet cleaning service is billed at $60 per hour and includes standard cleaning solutions at no additional cost. Pricing is based solely on labour time, and there are no extra charges for carpet cleaning formulas or basic treatments. This service is designed to refresh carpets, remove surface dirt, and improve overall cleanliness as part of routine or deep cleaning services.
Invoicing
An invoice is a summary of cleaning services provided by Bengs Cleaning Services. All services are performed according to the agreed scope of work and scheduled service date. Pricing is based on labour time, service type, and any additional services requested. Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise stated.
A 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applied in accordance with Canadian federal tax regulations. Bengs Cleaning Services is a registered GST vendor and is required to collect and remit GST on applicable services.
Individuals who are recognized as having a disability may be exempt from GST/PST (or applicable taxes) on cleaning services, in accordance with Canadian tax regulations. Please provide the necessary documentation to confirm eligibility for tax exemption.
